An Introduction to Digital Preservation
This virtual workshop will focus on Digital Preservation best practices. Instructor Andrea Green, previously the Digital Collections Manager at the State Library of North Carolina, will discuss basic terminology, models and workflows, storage and access, and assessment. Participants will learn helpful tools and resources to assist in digital preservation development and maintenance throughout the talk. The first two hours will be a workshop providing an overview of digital preservation to help people get started on their own projects or navigate current situations.
